Bruce was a fine and kind gentleman who I had the pleasure and privilege of meeting. Bruce was a Normandy Veteran who fought with the Allied troops through to the end of the war. Returning to civilian life he worked in construction and a quarry until retirement. A keen and devoted member of the Welch Fusiliers Veterans he died in April 2020 four days before his birthday, he would have achieved the age of 95.  Rest in peace Bruce.
